Georgian leaders condemn today’s terror attack in Stockholm, Sweden and express deep sorrow over the event.
Three people have lost their lives in a terror attack in central Stockholm after a lorry drove into a store, Swedish media reports.
Following the attack world leaders, including Georgia’s, shared messages condemning terrorism.
Georgia’s Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili posted on Twitter that he was deeply sadden by terrorist attack.

President of Georgia Giorgi Margvelashvili also tweeted:
I am deeply outraged over the deadly #stockholmattack , that killed several people and left many injured. We strongly condemn terrorism.

Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze posted via his Twitter that terrorism could be defeated only through resilience and joint actions.

The Georgian Embassy in Sweden addressed Georgians living in the country to refrain from moving about the city and to use the hotline number (+46 723695428) in case of any emergency.
