Georgian leaders have expressed their condolences for the victims of a shooting in a Quebec City mosque last night.
President Giorgi Margvelashvili took to Twitter to express his sorrow.
"I'm deeply outraged over the terrorist attack at a mosque in Quebec City, Canada. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families”, he wrote.

Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili also expressed his sadness through a Tweet.
"I strongly condemn the shooting at mosque in Canada. My thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their loved ones”, he wrote.

Six people were killed and another eight wounded in a shooting at a mosque in Quebec City on Sunday night.
Shots were fired at the Quebec Islamic Cultural Centre, where more than 50 people had gathered for evening prayers, BBC reported.
Two suspects were arrested shortly after the attack and police do not believe there are other suspects at large.
