Snow season opens in Hatsvali-Tetnuldi ski zone of Svaneti

The snow season is gradually opening in all winter resorts of Georgia, inviting Georgian and foreign snowboarders, skiers and other enthusiasts to hit the slopes in Georgia’s winter resorts of Gudauri, Bakuriani, Svaneti and Goderdzi.

Following Gudauri and Bakuriani, now the snow season has officially kicked off in Hatsvali and Tetnuldi - modern sports and recreational destinations in Georgia’s western region of Svaneti.

There are 30 km of nine different ski trails catering to all levels of skier, from amateurs to professionals in Tetnuldi and 7 km of five different ski trails in Hatsvali.

In total five ski lifts will serve the guests of Tetnuldi and one – of Hatsvali from 10am to 16pm every day.

Meanwhile, the 1,200m Mestia-Hatsvali ski lifts connecting Hatsvali skiing zone with the centre of Mestia will be opened on December 23.

At the same day, snow enthusiasts are invited to attend the snow season opening ceremony at Kokhta-Mitarbi in Bakuriani.
