Georgia and Korea celebrate 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations

Georgia and Korea are celebrating the 25th anniversary of establishing diplomatic ties.
Representatives of diplomatic corps and other high-level guests attended the special reception on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Georgia and Korea today.

Addressing the guests at today’s reception, Georgia’s Deputy Foreign Minister George Sharvashidze praised cooperation between Georgia and Korea.
Minister Sharvashidze said the trade-economic relations between the two countries have been of the greatest importance in recent years.
The South Korean government has gifted five mini-buses to the Georgian Government. The total value of all five mini buses together is up to $200,000 USD.
Georgia’s capital Tbilisi is welcoming the first Georgia-Korea Information Access Centre that's been specially designed for people of all abilities.
