Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili briefed the Speaker of the National Assembly of South Korea Moon Hee-sang on the situation in the Russian-occupied regions of Georgia.
Zurabishvili and Hee-sang met at the presidential palace yesterday.

President Zurabishvili informed Hee-sang of the grave human rights violations in occupied Abkhazia and Tskhinvali (South Ossetia), which includes restriction to freedom of movement as well as the right to receive an education in one's native language.

Zurabishvili spoke of the importance of raising the Geneva International Discussions to a higher level. She also underscored the necessity of solving the conflict in a peaceful way.
Earlier that day, Moon Hee-sang held meetings with the Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia and Parliament Speaker Archil Talakvadze.
