Georgian police detains woman wanted by Interpol

The detained woman will be extradited to France.

Georgian law enforcers have detained a citizen of Ukraine wanted by Interpol since August this year.

The detained female aged 34 was being wanted for alleged crimes committed in France.

Charges against her include committing a crime against juveniles, spreading of pornography and a rape.

The person identified as T.Ch was caught in Georgia’s seaside town Batumi.

The detainee now faces pre-extradition procedures.
