President appoints Georgia’s new Ambassador to Denmark

The President of Georgia, Giorgi Margvelashvili, has appointed ex-Deputy Foreign Minister Gigi Gigiadze as the country’s new Ambassador to Denmark.
The President issued a relevant decree yesterday.
Gigiadze, 38, has served in the diplomatic field since 2000.
He was appointed Georgia’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs on November 17, 2014.

Georgia is tightening business ties with the Netherlands, trying to attract more Dutch investors in the country.

Davit Dondua, Gigi Gigiadze and Khatuna Totladze have been appointed as Georgia's new Deputy Foreign Ministers.
A Georgian delegation led by Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili has left for the Czech Republic for a two day official visit. While in Prague the Georgian delegation will meet Czech leaders, including the country's Prime Minister and President.
Georgia has three new ambassadors to represent the country in three foreign nations. Georgia's President today signed a document, appointing new Georgian Ambassadors to Canada, Kazakhstan and Korea.
Georgia has appointed six new ambassadors to represent the country in Ukraine, Poland, Romania, Brazil, Australia and Malaysia.
The Georgian Foreign Ministry has introduced nine new ambassadorial candidates to represent the country in Switzerland, Spain, Norway, Belarus, Qatar, Argentina, Indonesia, Ethiopia and the South African Republic.
The Georgian Foreign Ministry has introduced two new diplomats to represent the country in Germany and the United Nations Office and other international organisations in Geneva.
Danish Minister for Foreign Affairs Anders Samuelsen will travel to Georgia today.
Samuelsen is scheduled to meet with senior Georgian officials, including President Giorgi Margvelashvili and Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili.
