Georgian wheelchair fencers Irma Khetsuriani, Nina Tibilashvili and Gvantsa Zadishvili have returned to the country from the Para Fencing World Cup in São Paulo, Brazil with six medals under their belt.
The fencers collected two gold, three silver and one bronze medal at the event held last week.
Khetsuriani claimed gold in the women’s category B sabre competition and a silver in foil, while Tibilashvili earned gold in sabre and a bronze medal in foil.
Zadishvili also contributed two medals to the team’s success, winning silver in both foil and sabre at the competition.
