Georgian youth pistol shooting team claims European Championship title in Estonia

The Georgian youth pistol shooting trio of Revaz Liluashvili, Luka Kobakhidze and Sandro Khositashvili on Friday claimed a gold medal in the 10-metre air pistol contest at the Under-16/Under-18 European Youth Shooting Championships in Tallinn, Estonia.

The Georgian squad secured their victory by defeating Ukraine with 13-11 in the U16 boys’ team event at the competition.

The Georgian athletes also secured a bronze in another team category at the event, while Khositashvili earned a silver in the individual 10-metre air pistol shooting.

In addition, he and Elene Tsiklauri collected a bronze medal in the mixed pairs’ section at the tournament.
