Georgian shooters claim first-ever European Championships gold

The Georgian national shooting sport team on Monday claimed its first-ever European Championships gold medal among juniors in Győr, Hungary.

Mariam Prodiashvili and Giorgi Mumladze earned the medal in the 10 metre air pistol section among mixed junior teams.

The two defeated their German counterparts Celina Becker and Eduard Baumeister 17:15 to win the title in the category.
