The strategic partnership between Georgia and Turkey, especially on the background of the ongoing geopolitical developments across the South Caucasus region, was discussed on Thursday by Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili and Numan Kurtulmuş, the Speaker of the Grand Assembly of Turkey.
At the meeting, held as part of Georgian FM’s visit to Turkey, the sides highlighted the “excellent” interparliamentary cooperation between the two countries.

Darchiashvili also reviewed matters related to strategic partnership, joint projects and existing security challenges in the South Caucasus region with his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan earlier today, the Foreign Ministry said.
