Georgian PM introduces new Minister of Agriculture and Environmental Protection to body

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Monday introduced David Songulashvili, the new Minister of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of the country, to employees of the Ministry.

During the meeting, Kobakhidze emphasised Songulashvili's “many years of experience and professionalism”, highlighting his “deep understanding” of the field.

The Prime Minister expressed confidence that the Ministry would achieve success in both environmental protection and agriculture under Songulashvili's leadership.

Kobakhidze also took the opportunity to commend contributions of the former minister, Otar Shamugia, acknowledging his role in advancing the Ministry's achievements.
