Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Monday introduced Maka Botchorishvili, the newly appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs, to the foreign office staff.
The Government head highlighted Botchorishvili’s experience, noting she was a “successful diplomat” who had worked in the field for over 20 years.
Kobakhidze thanked former Minister Ilia Darchiashvili for his “contribution”, adding he would continue his work “in a different capacity”, with details to be announced later.
