The Georgian National Tourism Administration on Wednesday said Euronews, a network operating in 160 countries and 17 different languages with over 400 million viewers, had promoted the country’s mountain ski resorts in an article published on Tuesday.

The Article, by Craig Sauers, recommends Georgia's winter destinations to travellers, while also highlighting the country’s “modern resorts and legendary hospitality”.

The piece also shared skier Taylor Beckwith-Ferguson’s experience in mountain resort Gudauri, noting the country’s ski resorts offered “similar quality to the Alps but cheaper”, with “good infrastructure and good snow”.

The article also highlights Georgia’s other popular resorts for skiing, sports and recreation, including Bakuriani, Goderdzi, Hatsvali and Tetnuldi.

The author points out the country, with its high mountains and low prices, competes with the top ski resorts in Europe, while also emphasising the Government’s investments in ski resorts infrastructure.

Sauers further notes Georgia's rich history, with a mention of its capital Tbilisi and the country’s 8,000-year winemaking tradition.
