Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Thursday highlighted his meetings with the European leaders on the sidelines of the fifth European Political Community Summit in Budapest, adding he “used the format” of the Summit “to deliver messages” to European partners.
I also had the opportunity to meet European leaders, I had meetings with several prime ministers, I had a meeting with Charles Michel, the President of the European Council, where we talked about the issues of Georgia-EU relations. Of course, we also used these formats to deliver our messages to our partners as much as possible", the PM said.
The Summit was interesting, I had the opportunity to speak both at the thematic panel, where economic security issues were discussed, and at the closing plenary session, where I spoke about the ongoing processes in Georgia, as well as the relations between Georgia and the European Union. These were the main topics discussed”, Kobakhidze said in his comments to the media.
Kobakhidze added he had discussed all the “important topics ranging from ongoing developments” in the country to its European integration with the European leaders and other high officials during the Summit.
