Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Thursday attended the opening session of the fifth European Political Community Summit in Budapest, Hungary, with the event launched by Viktor Orbán, the Hungarian Prime Minister and Chair of the Council of the European Union.
Kobakhidze will participate in a thematic discussion on economic security and connectivity and is scheduled to deliver a speech at the summit's final plenary session later on Thursday, the Government of Georgia press office said.
The PM highlighted he would use the platform, including his speech and panel discussions, to address ongoing developments in Georgia and its relations with the European Union.
