Military servicemembers of the Special Operations Commands of Georgia’s Defence Forces “successfully” completed the Exercise Cambrian Patrol 2024 in Wales and returned to Georgia with gold medals for showing the best results among 35 participant countries, the Defence Ministry said on Saturday.

Major Giorgi Kavtaradze, Georgia's Special Operations Command officer, noted the triumph of the Defence Forces’ servicemembers was “yet another evidence” that the military personnel of the Command were “high-level, world-class professionals”, who “at any time, will be able to execute tasks assigned to them”.

The Exercise Cambrian Patrol is the British Army’s premier patrolling event held since 1959 and hosted by Headquarters 160th Welsh Brigade, aiming to improve the operational capabilities of its intelligence units.
