Philippe Bone, the Vice President Development of Accor, a French multinational hospitality company that owns, manages and franchises hotels, resorts and vacation properties, on Tuesday said Georgia was “distinguished” by its “stability”, “high” economic growth, and an “increasing” investment dynamics in the tourism sector among countries in the wider region.

Bonnet said the factors had attracted the company to the country, in comments at the capsule placing ceremony for a new five-star Pullman hotel and residences in Tsikhisdziri resort on the Black Sea coast in the Adjara region, where he announced the Group’s plans to invest in Georgia's tourism sector.

We have very serious goals in Georgia. We have already made several large investments, and we are planning to open 15 facilities in your country, which are currently in the design or construction stages. We believe that Georgia has the best business environment, which made us decide to invest in your country”, he said.

It was a great discovery for us to find such a wonderful recreational place near Batumi, where the mountain and sea air are perfectly combined. It is an ideal place to relax, and I am thrilled that we have the opportunity to participate in such an outstanding project”, Bonnet added.

In addition to Georgia’s “conducive” business environment, he said the Government’s “successful” policies had facilitated the entry of foreign investments into the country’s tourism sector.

Georgia is a strategic partner of the Accor group. We believe the projects that we will implement in your country in the future will be successful and will contribute to the promotion and greater awareness of your country in Europe, America, and other important tourist markets," added Bonnet.

The Pullman hotel project in Tsikhisdziri is expected to employ over 500 individuals during the construction phase, with an additional 250 permanent jobs following its completion in 2028.
