Georgian PM attends Gurjaani Wine Festival

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, along with Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili and Economy Minister Levan Davitashvili, on Saturday attended the Wine Festival in Gurjaani municipality in the country’s eastern Kakheti region.

Kobakhidze visited the spaces of entrepreneurs and winemakers, the vocational school Aisi and the stands showcasing local handicrafts, the Government Administration said.  

He also toured an exhibition by the National Intellectual Property Centre of Georgia on the subjects of the registration, protection, and use of appellations of origin and geographical indications.

The wine festival will be concluded with a concert.
