The 35th International Hegel Congress of the International Hegel Society was held from Monday to Friday for the first time in post-Soviet space, hosted by the Faculty of Engineering Economics, Media Technologies and Social Sciences at the Georgian Technical University, the country’s Ministry of Culture said on Saturday.
The Ministry organised the publishing and cultural activities as part of the International Hegel Congress held under the theme The Idea of the Good and Ethical Life in Hegel's Philosophy. The literary works were published in the Georgian language including Philosophy of Religion by Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel, Moral Progress in Dark Times by Markus Gabriel and others.
“By publishing this literature, the best works of German classical philosophy will be more accessible to the Georgian society. Furthermore, the book stock needed for educational purposes will be updated. These publications will contribute to the diversification of scientific literature available in the Georgian language”, the Culture Ministry noted.
The International Hegel Congress is an event aimed at exploring and discussing various aspects of Hegel's philosophy. It gathers scholars, researchers, and enthusiasts of Hegel's works from around the world.
