Georgia’s capital hosting Tbilisi International Book Festival

Georgia’s capital Tbilisi is hosting the 25th edition of the International Book Festival over the weekend in Expo Georgia fairgrounds, featuring both Georgian and foreign publishers, as well as various organisations at the 11th pavilion. 

 

 

The organisers, Georgian Publishers and Booksellers Association are also offering a special section for children at the 5th and 6th pavilions.

The event will also involve the traditional project Actors for Literature, hosting famous Georgian film and theatre actors, presenting books, and leading artistic readings. 

The organisers also said they had ensured a hybrid format for the event, with an online book sale held in parallel to the in-person occasion.
