The draft state budget of Georgia, set to be reviewed by the Parliament between October 3-15, outlines a planned real economic growth of 5.5 percent for the coming year, with an average inflation forecast of 1.5 percent, as announced by the country's legislative body on Tuesday.
The forecast for nominal gross domestic product is ₾97.4 billion ($35.62mln), with a GDP per capita exceeding $9,600, the body added.
The total spending for the consolidated budget of 2025 is projected at ₾31.2 billion ($11.41bln), aimed at fully financing the state’s obligations.
The state budget's revenues for the next year have increased by ₾2.28 billion ($830mln) compared to the previous year, totalling ₾26.85 billion ($9.82bln).
Allocations of the state budget for 2025 amount to ₾27.04 billion ($9.89bln), indicating an increase of ₾2.01 billion ($730mln) compared to the approved plan of the current year.
