Georgian Finance Minister Lasha Khutsishvili and Jin Liqun, the President of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, on Wednesday discussed bilateral cooperation and progress of projects financed by the Bank in the country.
Khutsishvili briefed Liquin on the current state of the country's economy and provided insights into future forecasts.
The meeting, which took place during the annual gathering of the AIIB in Uzbekistan, also involved Ekaterine Guntsadze, the Deputy Finance Minister.
The credit portfolio of the AIIB in Georgia currently stands at about $400 million, the Ministry of Finance said.
