33 foreign citizens expelled from Georgia in August, says Interior Ministry

The Migration Department of Georgia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs expelled 33 citizens of foreign countries last month, the body said on Tuesday.

The Ministry added the expelled citizens were nationals of Iran, Jordan, India, Turkey, Egypt, Azerbaijan, Australia, Pakistan, Nigeria, China, Iraq and Russia.

It also said the individuals either voluntarily departed or were “forcibly expelled as a result of measures” taken by the Department.
