The Migration Department of Georgia's Interior Ministry arrested and expelled 42 citizens of different countries between April and May, the body said on Wednesday.
The Department deported citizens of Iraq, Iran, Algeria, Pakistan, Armenia, Russia, Jordan and Egypt, as well as eight minor nationals of Azerbaijan, who had entered the country and resided without a legal status.
The state body also said the minors were involved in “various anti-social activities”.
Some of the individuals left Georgia “voluntarily”, it added, while others were forcibly expelled based on “measures taken by the Migration Department”.
