Strategies to combat corruption and common challenges were discussed on Wednesday in a meeting between Razhden Kuprashvili, the Head of the Anti-Corruption Bureau of Georgia, and Nida Grunskienė, the Prosecutor General of Lithuania.
The Georgian state body said the meeting, held at the Prosecutor's Office in Vilnius, highlighted strengthening whistleblower protection mechanisms, with the parties agreeing to sign a memorandum of cooperation.
The body added the meeting also featured Ana Kalandadze, the Deputy Head of the Bureau, Georgian delegation members Ketevan Muradashvili, Mamuka Ghviniashvili and Giorgi Bagdavadze, as well as Gintas Ivanauskas, the Deputy Prosecutor General of Lithuania.
