Thirteen Georgian companies showcased their products at the 2024 London Wine Fair between Monday and Wednesday, the National Wine Agency said on Friday.
Master of Wine Sarah Abbott, contractor of the Agency and the head of the British company Swirl Wine Group, hosted a presentation and tasting of Georgian wines at the event.
The presentation involved wines that emerged as winners of the 2023 International Wine and Spirit Competition.
The Agency said the Fair represented an “important platform” for Georgian producers to extend trade networks, promote their product and expand exports, with “thousands of visitors”, wine experts and media attending the event.

Georgia’s capital Tbilisi is hosting the two-day natural wine festival - Zero Compromise, with about 100 local and 25 foreign wineries, including from France, Italy, Spain, Austria, Japan, Australia and Slovenia, participating in the event.
