At the exhibition, organised with the support of Tbilisi City Hall, more than 30 local and international galleries are presenting artists from different countries, with Gallery Fotoatelier representing Alavidze, Ketevan Maghularia and still life photographs of Sergei Parajanov on set from the unknown author.
Alavidze’s works from three different series - The Ephemeral Symbols Of Life, Winter Soul and Imprints Of Imagination are showcased at the Fair, which will run till Sunday and is hosting international and local collectors, as well as galleries, art salons and artists.
I don’t shoot nature just because it's pretty, it is what's beyond the beauty that's interesting for me, with its secrets and hidden meanings. [...] you can not plan what nature is preparing for you”, Alavidze said, explaining her working process to Gallery Fotoatelier.
Workshops, performances, a series of Art Fair talks and other events are planned within the framework of the TAF.
