Georgian officials, institutions wish Happy Easter to everyone celebrating today

Georgian officials and institutions on Sunday wished Happy Easter to everyone celebrating the Christian holiday today in Georgia and across the world.

In her congratulatory message, Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili congratulated all who celebrate “this magnificent holiday today in our multi-confessional and multi-ethnic country”, wishing them “health, prosperity and happiness in a united, peaceful and successful Georgia”.

Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili extended his congratulations by saying “May this day be filled with joy, hope, and blessings for you and your loved ones”

In a social media post, Georgia’s foreign office noted “May the miracle of Easter bring happiness, peace and love to your homes”.

The Embassy of Georgia to the Holy See congratulated Happy Easter to everyone celebrating it today and wished “May Easter inspire a world of peace and harmony”.
