Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, who is on an official visit to Armenia, on Monday said his Government “firmly” supported “stability and peaceful coexistence” in the South Caucasus region.
In remarks following a meeting with his Armenian counterpart Nikol Pashinyan, Kobakhidze expressed his hope the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan would “maintain positive dynamics”.
Georgia firmly supports stability and peaceful coexistence in the South Caucasus [region], and I hope that the peace agreement process between Armenia and Azerbaijan will maintain positive dynamics and eventually be crowned with a proper agreement”, he said.
Kobakhidze also noted official Tbilisi was “ready to play a positive role” in the process.
