Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili on Friday said Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze’s meetings with Ilham Aliyev, the President of Azerbaijan, and his counterpart Ali Asadov would bring a “new impetus” to the “dynamic bilateral relations” between the sides.
 

In his comments to the media ahead of Kobakhidze’s visit on Saturday, Darchiashvili said it was “very important” the Government head’s official trip was taking place in a “friendly and strategic partner” state of Georgia.
 

He also said the “main” message of the visit was that the Georgian Government would “continue to further deepen and strengthen” the ties, and added he was confident it would bring “concrete new projects”, cooperation and more involvement in the development of bilateral relations.
 

The developments will lead to “concrete outcomes for the well-being of Georgia’s citizens”, the Minister added.
