Georgian PM, Japanese Ambassador discuss ties

The “fruitful” cooperation between Georgia and Japan was discussed on Thursday in a meeting between Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze and Hideki Ishizuka, the Japanese Ambassador to the country.
 

The parties also discussed prospects for deepening bilateral trade and economic ties, the Government Administration said.


Kobakhidze confirmed his Government’s “readiness” to further develop partnership in investments, export growth, implementation of joint programmes and promoting small and medium businesses.
 

The meeting also highlighted Japan's “firm support” for Georgia's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
