Pawel Herczynski, the European Union Ambassador to Georgia, on Thursday expressed his readiness to work with the country’s new Prime Minister and selected ministers in order for the country to succeed on the path of its European integration.

In his remarks following the exit of Irakli Garibashvili from the position this week and scheduled ruling party congress that will select the new PM on Thursday, Herczynski noted “close” cooperation would continue with the new Government for the success of Georgia's European integration.

I myself am very interested in what will be the composition of the new Government, but I want to assure you that whatever decision is made, we, the European Union, are ready to work with the newly elected Prime Minister and the newly appointed ministers in order for Georgia to succeed on the path of European integration”, he said.
