Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili on Friday hosted his Armenian counterpart Nikol Pashinyan, along with the visiting delegation, at an official dinner.

Garibashvili and Pashinyan discussed the strategic partnership of the two countries in an informal setting, the Government Administration said on Saturday.

The dinner was held in Georgia’s capital Tbilisi at Mtatsminda, a landscaped park located at the top of Mount Mtatsminda overlooking Tbilisi, where the officials travelled by the Funicular tram, sightseeing the capital.

As part of Pashinyan’s visit to Tbilisi, the PMs announced the signing of a memorandum on strategic partnership between Georgia and Armenia, after a face-to-face meeting, where they discussed the “fruitful” bilateral ties.

The officials also signed several agreements as part of the 13th session of the Intergovernmental Commission for Economic Cooperation between the countries.
