Madrid Fusión, an upcoming gastronomy fair in the Spanish capital, is promoting Georgia as a country where “hospitality is the main course”.
With an image of Sighnaghi, a popular tourist destination at the heart of the country's wine-growing region of Kakheti, the fair’s social media channels are highlighting the Guest Country of this year's event.
The messaging calls Georgia a “fusion of tradition and creativity”.
The Georgian National Tourism Administration said the fair, set to run between January 29-31, would showcase culinary attractions from countries ranging from Switzerland to Argentina and Colombia to South Korea, alongside Georgia.
The Georgian stand will feature food, wine and tourist products, with “Show Kitchen” also integrated in the national stand.
Master classes on Georgian dishes and wine tasting will be hosted on the main stage of the fairgrounds under the Guest Country status.
