Tour guides and reporters have visited Bakhmaro, the highest alpine ski destination in western Georgia, to learn about the resort and attract international and domestic travellers as part of the Georgian National Tourism Administration’s push to promote the destination.

The GNTA said it hosted the visiting group to introduce them to Bakhmaro’s attractions for extreme tourism enthusiasts and show them its infrastructure, guesthouses and catering facilities.

It also added the guides and travel journalists had been offered the opportunity to try the ski and snowboarding locations of the resort.
