Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili on Friday told a panel discussion at the Paris Peace Forum his Government was a “supporter” of peace amid the ongoing conflicts, crises and wars in the world.
In his comments at the discussion, Garibashvili noted his Government condemned “terrorism and terrorist acts” against civilians.
I want to say once again that we are experiencing conflicts, crises and wars in the world. The author of the question mentioned the ongoing crisis in the Middle East - the situation between Israel and Hamas. Georgia is a supporter of peace. Of course, what is happening is terrorism and we condemn terrorism and terrorist acts against civilians”, Garibashvili said.
The Government head stressed the countries needed to find a solution through negotiations.
