The Georgian foreign office on Tuesday said it “utterly condemned” the “cowardly terrorist attack” in Brussels that killed two Swedish football fans and left one injured ahead of a football match between Belgium and Sweden on Monday.

Extending its condolences, the Ministry said Georgia stood in solidarity with the Government and people of Sweden.
The man who identified himself as a member of the Islamic State terrorist group claimed responsibility for the attack in a video posted online.
The suspected assailant fled the scene after the shooting, and was later shot dead by police.
