The Georgian foreign office on Thursday said it had not received any information about injured Georgian citizens after a deadly shooting in the Czech Republic's capital Prague.
The body noted the Georgian Embassy in the Czech Republic was already informed about the incident and was in contact with the country’s relevant structures.
Following the incident, the Georgian Embassy has activated a 24-hour hotline for Georgian citizens in Prague.
Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili expressed his “deepest sympathies” to the families of the victims of the recent shooting and sent his “most sincere” condolences to the people and Government of the Czech Republic.

According to the international media, at least 10 people were killed and dozens were injured in the shooting on the territory of Charles University's Faculty of Arts, located near a major tourist site.
The Czech police said the shooter had already been eliminated.
