Revenue Service seizes $182,869 in undeclared money at Tbilisi, Batumi airports

Customs officers of the Georgian Revenue Service seized about $182,869 in undeclared money at the Tbilisi International Airport in Georgia’s capital and Batumi International Airport in the Black Sea region of Adjara, the body said on Friday.

The Service said it had seized €10,785, $169,300 and 3,320 Israeli shekels of undeclared sums from foreign citizens, with the total amount reaching ₾478,117 ($182,869).

The offenders have been collectively fined about ₾47,811 ($18,286) as a sanction.
