One arrested for sending former partner’s intimate photos to relatives

A 31-year-old Turkish citizen has been arrested by the Special Investigative Service of Georgia for sending intimate photographs of his former partner to her relatives, the body said on Thursday.
The Service said the individual had covertly taken intimate screenshots of his former partner during social media conversations that took place during the course of their relationship.
The offender then produced a video edit using the material and sent it to relatives of the victim after the break-up of the relationship.
He was charged with violating confidentiality of personal information after the victim addressed authorities over the incidents, and faces four to seven years in prison.
