The fourth season of the Security School, a project by the country’s State Security Service aimed to raise awareness of security threats, concluded on Saturday, with Grigol Liluashvili, the Head of the Service, awarding the participant students with certificates.

Officials from the Service introduced the twenty students to the specifics of intelligence and counterintelligence services, as well as activities of the counter-terrorist centre, prevention of corruption, occupation and related threats, and several other important security subjects, the Service said.

The school participants, the students from the closing year of bachelor’s degree studies and master’s degree majors from universities across Georgia, also took a physical training course as part of the two-week classes, learning how to protect themselves in dangerous situations.

The summer School project is supported by the British Embassy and Georgia’s ministries of Justice and Education.
