Georgian PM, newly appointed UAE Ambassador review cooperation prospects

Relations between Georgia and the United Arab Emirates and prospects for cooperation between the two states were discussed on Tuesday in a meeting between the Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and Ahmed Ebrahim Ahmed Taher Al Nuaimi, the newly appointed UAE Ambassador to the country. 

The meeting noted the recent visit of the Georgian PM to the UAE had made an “additional step” towards strengthening friendship and partnership between the countries, the Government Administration said.

 

Garibashvili thanked the Ambassador for the “hospitality and warm welcome” extended by his Government during the visit.

The officials also highlighted “friendly relations and partnership” between the countries and expressed their willingness to “further deepen” the existing cooperation in various fields.
