Georgian children's fashion brands feature at Florence fair

Seven Georgian children’s apparel manufacturers featured in Pitti Immagine Bimbo, an international fair of children's fashion and lifestyles hosted in Florence between January 18-20, Georgia's entrepreneurship promotion agency, Enterprise Georgia announced on Monday.
Peek-a-boo, Uniki, Lemo, Eshvi kids, Nikolli, Kombinizona and Chikatai were the Georgian brands showing their designs at the event with the support of the Agency.
The body said the fair had attracted “many international buyers” and turned out “quite successful” for the Georgian companies.
Their products attracted interest, with international media writing about the items manufactured in Georgia”, the Agency said.
Pitti Immagine Bimbo is visited by 10,000 fashion enthusiasts and professionals annually, with about 500 international brands also taking part in the event.
Georgian children’s clothing brand Giraffe has started exporting to the US and Japan.
Georgian children’s clothing brand Spilow is now exporting its products to France, Italy, Luxembourg, and Germany with the support of Enterprise Georgia, the export supporter agency of Georgia. Backed by the export support arm of Enterprise Georgia, Spilow has been able to attend an international showroom in Paris and Florence.
Georgian children’s clothing and accessories brand Rko is now exporting its products to Europe and Asia with the support of Enterprise Georgia, the export supporter agency of Georgia.
Georgian children’s clothes brand Spilow is now selling in the British Igloo Kids store’s spring-summer collection.
Georgian tea will be sold by Oxalis, one of the leading supermarket chains in the Czech Republic, after a Georgian-based company has received support from the Export Assistance Programme of the Enterprise Georgia state project to deliver its products to the store.
Georgia’s Minister of Economy Levan Davitashvili met Peter Ryan and Michael Zdanowski, two international investment consultants and location managers who visited Georgia to introduce the country’s business environment to potential investors, the Ministry said on Tuesday.

Georgian brands producing toys are featured at the ongoing Spielwarenmesse Fair in Germany, while companies from the country that make children’s clothing are among exhibitors at Playtime Paris in the French capital.
