Light and passenger traffic will be able to use Rikoti Pass, a major crossing between the eastern and western parts of Georgia, for three hours longer daily, the Roads Department has announced.
The body said the two categories of vehicles would be able to use the Pass between 6am-9pm local time starting on Saturday.
The change will affect the section of the road between the Surami junction and Zestaponi.
Trailers and semi-trailers will be allowed on the section between 11pm-5am.
