The Land Transport Agency of Georgia on Tuesday announced changes for traffic rules for international carriers at the Kazbegi customs checkpoint on the border between Georgia and Russia.

The Agency said the carrier traffic would be allowed through the checkpoint in reverse direction, through reduction of lanes from 11 to six, between March 13-May 23.

It added the change was coming into effect due to replacement of communication systems and adjustments to traffic regulations.
