Tiny Kox, the President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, on Tuesday expressed the Assembly’s “full support” for Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova, stressing Russia “must leave all occupied territories in Europe”.
In his speech at the fourth Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Council of Europe in Reykjavik, Kox pledged that the PACE would not allow “an aggressor country” - Russia - to destroy “multilateralism” in Europe.
We will have a strong statement about solidarity and [...] those who started an aggressive war will answer for their actions, sooner or later, including the leaders of Russia", Kox noted.
The Summit will see Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili addressing its participants on Wednesday.
