Hungarian Ambassador to Georgia Anna Maria Siko on Wednesday hailed Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili’s decision to accept the invitation and participate in an “important conference” - the Conservative Political Action Conference, in Hungary’s capital city of Budapest.
Siko noted she was glad to host the Georgian PM in Hungary, highlighting last year’s “excellent meeting” where the officials of the two countries had discussed raising relations to a “new strategic level” and signed a “very important” document in this regard, to allow the import of energy from Azerbaijan to Hungary through Georgia and Romania, the Government Administration said.
Hungary is a conservative country based on “three important values: family, Christianity and nation”, which serve as a link for friendship between Georgia and Hungary, the Ambassador emphasised.
