Georgian Infrastructure Minister Irakli Karseladze on Friday said the experience of Hungary would be “very useful” for Georgia to “accelerate our readiness” to join the European Union.
While in Hungary this week, Karseladze met the Minister of Energy of Hungary Csaba Lantos, the Minister of Construction and Transport János Lázár, and the Minister of Regional Development Tibor Navracsics.
We shared interesting and very innovative practices with each other. We are going to further deepen the cooperation at the sectoral level”, Karseladze said.
The Hungarian ministers shared their “successful experience” of construction and project management and innovative approaches with the Georgian delegation, the Ministry of Infrastructure announced.
On the other hand, Karseladze talked about the Government’s Vision 2030 development strategy and highlighted that the goal of the Government was to provide 24-hour water supply to all settlements in the country by 2025.
At the meetings, Karseladze noted his Government was fulfilling the “important mission” of strengthening the physical connection with Europe and the energy security and independence of Europe and the South Caucasus region with the construction of the domestic East-West Highway, development of transport infrastructure, the project for the construction of the deep sea port in the Black Sea town of Anaklia and the implementation of the Black Sea submarine cable project.
