A delegation from the United Airports of Georgia has held meetings with companies as part of the ongoing Passenger Terminal Expo in Amsterdam in a bid to bring new solutions to the country’s Kutaisi International Airport.

He also said the meetings had given the “best opportunity” to bring services of Georgian airports up to “modern, latest standards”.

[T]his year we are planning to equip the Kutaisi International Airport with new, modern equipment, and we have also planned several innovations related to installation of self check-in and baggage drop-off devices, so that passengers can register and hand over their luggage on arrival at the airport without the help of our agents”, Karkashadze noted in comments on the upcoming innovations.

Passenger Terminal Expo 2023 will run between Tuesday and Thursday and host more than 10,000 visitors in its exhibition of the latest products, services and technologies showcased by more than 250 exhibitors.
